This 7 days Safari tour takes you to Western Uganda in its unique national parks with unique attractions and these are Lake Mburo national park, Bwindi forest national park, Queen elizabeth national park and Kibale forest  national park.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Uganda & transfer to Lake Mburo national park

You will be picked by our driver-guide from the airport who will proceed with you to Lake Mburo national park which is located in the western country side.This park is one of the smallest savannah parks found in Uganda. You will arrive in the morning and have a game drive and expect to see the following  mammals like the African Buffalo, Common Zebra, Oribis, waterbucks, Hippos, Hyenas, Eland and Reedbucks then have lunch in the afternoon you will go for a bush walk with a ranger guide  this activity will give you an opportunity of looking at animals at a close range.

Day 2. Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park

After the morning breakfast, you will begin your journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. This park is a host to about 459 gorillas with also 120 mammals, 350 bird species, primates like the Olive Baboon. As you approach the park you will have a beautiful view of the terraced hills then  arrive and have lunch at a restaurant, thereafter you will continue with your journey and arrive in the evening.

Day 3: Trek Gorillas & Community  walk

Our guide will pick you after having an early breakfast. And take to the ranger station for briefing about the gorilla trekking activity and also be registered. The Park ranger guide will then take you through the forest as you look for those gorillas the trekking activity will take you about 2-6 hours but the real time will depend on where they will be located. During the search when you meet the gorillas, you will have a stop and spend sometime around them  for about an hour as you watch how they behave. You will then have packed lunch or go back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit the local people of a tribe known as the Batwa where you will have a cultural interaction with them by knowing their way of life. After that experience the guide will take you back to your lodge.

Day 4. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

You will wake up and have breakfast. After which you will be picked by our guide  who will take you to Queen Elizabeth national park which has a variety of wildlife that consist of 95 mammals and over 600 bird species. As you are driven northwards the park to Ishasha were  the tree-climbing lions are found . You will expect to view the lions and lioness on a fig tree  afterwhich you will continue  up to your lodge and have lunch. In the evening, you will go to the Kazinga channel  for a boat cruise where you will expect to view wildlife like, African bush elephant along the shoes Hippopotamus different bird species like the pink-backed pelican Long-tailed Cormorant, Pied kingfisher, e.t.c. Thereafter you will go back to your lodge for an overnight.

Day 5: Game viewing & transfer to Kibale forest

After an early breakfast our guide will take you for a game drive and you will expect to see wildlife that rise very early like Lioness, Leopards,African Buffalo, e.t.c After the game drive you will be driven back to your lodge for a rest and have lunch. After lunch you will start the journey to Kibale forest national park, known for primates and its home to 1,500 chimpanzees, 370 birdspecies, 120 mammals, enroute you  will have a view of the Ruwenzori Mountain then arrive late in the evening at your lodge.

Day 6: Trek chimpanzees & Swamp walk

You will wake-up in the morning and have breakfast  and get picked  by our guide who will accompany you to the park headquarters to be briefed about the chimpanzee  trekking activity, the briefings normally is done by the park ranger guide. You will then start the trekking of these primates which may take  some time like 1-4 hours depending on where they are located. As you trek you will experience  the different species of wildlife found in this  forest park and when gorillas are located you will have a stop  and spend 1 hour  viewing them  as they play and eat.  There after you will be taken back to your lodge by the guide for lunch. In the afternoon you will be driven to Bigodi wetland sanctuary  which is made up of a large swamp. You will have a swamp walk and expect to see a variety of monkey species like the Red-tailed monkeys, Lhoest monkeys, Eastern black & white colobus monkeys, Bushbucks,e.t.c then return back to your lodge

Day 7 Travel to Entebbe airport & Depart Uganda

Wake up and have breakfast after which begin the journey to Entebbe airport. As you are driven, you will go through  the green scenic view of a tea estate plantation from a town known as Fortportal arrive at the capital city of Uganda and have lunch. In the afternoon you proceed to the airport and depart.
